About
I am a PhD candidate within the department of Political Science at the University of California, Davis studying comparative politics and methodology. I completed undergrad at Oregon State University studying Political Science and New Media Communications. My research interests focus on electoral and criminal violence. Currently, my projects are focused on different forms of violence and their consequences, such as criminal violence and lynchings.
My dissertation is focused on criminal violence during the electoral process with a specific focus on gender differences. The goal is to look at different stages and understand how criminal violence affects men and women political actors differently.
