About

I am a PhD candidate within the department of Political Science at the University of California, Davis studying comparative politics and methodology. I completed undergrad at Oregon State University studying Political Science and New Media Communications. Currently, my research interests focus on electoral violence and gender. My current research projects are about the various forms of electoral violence against women and how this impacts their political participation. Ultimately, my goal is to understand how violence targeted against women can result in the mobilization and demoralizition of women participating in politics.
