Located one block from the State Capitol building and operated by UC Davis, UCCS offers distinctive academic programs in public policy and journalism to students from throughout the university’s 10-campus system. These two programs provide students with an opportunity to study through seminars and internships in and around the capital city region. Many of the students who participated in UCCS programs since its establishment in 2004 now are engaged in policy careers at all levels of government or with organizations, associations and firms that work closely with government.
  • UC Washington Center
  • The UC Washington Center (UCDC) is the University of California's teaching, research and public service center in the nation's capital. UCDC, a residential instructional and research center a short walk away from the White House, has room for more than 270 students. UCDC serves students from throughout the UC's 10-campus system. As interns with Congress, the White House, cabinet agencies, advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, scientific laboratories and the news media, participating students have gained firsthand exposure to the American political process while attaining valuable work experience.
  • UC Davis Global Learning
