I am a Ph.D. student in the Political Science department, with subfields in international relations and comparative politics. I have a BA in international relations, economics, and Russian from UC Davis. Some of my research interests include conflict studies, and the rise of far-right parties in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). My undergraduate thesis focused on the 2000-2001 Ebola epidemic in Uganda in the context of the civil war there. Much of my current work focuses on voting for the far-right in CEE countries, and the consequences of the war in Ukraine on political behavior across Eastern Europe.
