Bio

Bianca Vicuña, PhD is a political psychologist who studies how the social identities of minoritized groups in the U.S. affect their political attitudes and behaviors. She uses survey experiments to identify and explore the psychological processes that create and dismantle inter-racial coalitions. Dr. Vicuña's work has appeared in the American Political Science Review, Political Behavior, and Politics, Groups, and Identities. She received her PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2024. A copy of her CV can be found here
