UC Davis' chapter of the National Political Science Honors Society awarded Best Chapter Award

UC Davis' Delta Upsilon chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society, has been awarded a Best Chapter Award for 2024-2025.

 

These awards recognize local chapters that are particularly active in their institutions and communities and embody the society’s mission to stimulate scholarship and intellectual interest in political science. Professor Gabriella Montinola serves as faculty advisor to the chapter and has offered extraordinary leadership and dedication to the students.

The Delta Upsilon chapter will be awarded along with five other chapters from institutions similar in size, out of over 830 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters. The National Political Science Honors Society noted that they impressed with the chapter’s achievements in developing activities exploring local politics, especially given the significant challenges faculty and students around the country continue to face.
