Professor Montinola receives the 2026 James Lengle Advisor Recognition Award from Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society, has awarded UC Davis Political Science Professor Dr. Gabriella Montinola the 2026 James Lengle Advisor Recognition Award. This award is intended to recognize advisors who have shown exceptional dedication to their local chapters and, through their service, have embodied the society's mission to stimulate scholarship and intellectual interest in political science. Dr. Montinola has served as faculty advisor to UC Davis' Delta Upsilon chapter for the last 26 years. Her dedication to her students and Pi Sigma Alpha is exceptional and serves as a model for all other faculty. The Lengle Advisor Recognition Award includes a cash prize of $1000 and a certificate of recognition. Congratulations, Professor Montinola, and thank you for your stellar leadership!
