Professor Juan Tellez's article featured in The Journal of Politics
In a new article published by The Journal of Politics, Professor Juan Tellez uses survey experiments to explore why Colombian citizens (narrowly) voted against a historic peace deal between the government and the country’s largest rebel group, the FARC. The study finds that deeply held core values played an important role in polarizing the public on transitional justice issues, and as a result, helps us understand why the prospect of peace negotiations can be polarizing in countries at war.
