Distinguished Professor Robert Jackman
Robert Jackman, our wonderful colleague and friend, died on October 8 after a two and one-half year struggle with pancreatic cancer.
Bob was the author of four books and dozens of scholarly articles, many in the leading journals of political science and sociology.
He was an international leader in the fields of comparative politics, comparative institutions, and political behavior.
We stand in awe of his resilience, his indomitable spirit, and the concern he continually showed for others.
A link to his obituary can be found below.
A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M on Sunday, December 6th at the Stonegate Country Club, 919 Lake Blvd., Davis, CA.
